Community Engagement
Community is very important to Dr. Patton. Whether it is within her office, her town, her profession, or internationally Dr. Patton is committed to building and supporting her community bonds. Ganaraska Chiropractic has a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes patients feel comfortable. Patients often comment that it feels like home. Dr. Patton takes pride in getting to know and understand her patients individually.
Within Port Hope and Northumberland County Dr. Patton participates in activities to support the community. She has been on the board of directors for the Port Hope and District Chamber of Commerce and is past director and current associate director with the Port Hope and District Agricultural Society. She is a supporter of the Northumberland United Way. In 2015 she performed in “Dancing with the Docs”, one of their larger fund-raising events. She has participated in Stockings for Seniors and donates to the local food banks.
Ganaraska Chiropractic participated in the Canadian Heart and Stroke Big Bike from 2012-2019. We aimed to have a full bike of 28 riders comprised of patients, friends, and staff. We are proud to say we were always one of Port Hope’s largest fundraising teams.
Dr. Patton prides herself in staying connected with the other chiropractors and health care providers in the area. If she feels a patient would be better served by the techniques offered by another professional, she is happy to refer them to the appropriate provider.
Dr. Patton has participated in two mission trips to Haiti. She travelled to God’s Littlest Angels with members of her church in 2012 and 2014. The team from Rural Faith (formerly Bethesda South) United Church transported over 1000 pounds of donated items to the orphanage and helped with the construction of new buildings. While in Haiti Dr. Patton provided chiropractic care to the staff and children at the orphanage. Dr. Patton continues to find ways to serve her community both locally and abroad.

Ganaraska Chiropractic are members of the Port Hope Chamber of Commerce. Dr Patton sits on the Board of Directors.

The Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA) is a
voluntary professional association established in 1929 that represents approximately 2,539 (81%) of Ontario’s 3,134 actively practising chiropractors.
The OCA has a long history of advancing chiropractic and the health of the citizens of Ontario.
CANADIAN MEMORIAL CHIROPRACTIC COLLEGE
